Program Overview

The “Adopt A Field” strategy plays an important role in Serve India Ministries vision to reach 100,000 Indian villages with the Gospel in the next 15 years. Serve India Ministries  has identified and is targeting largely unreached areas of India.

The Serve India Ministries  Mission Field is an unreached area of approximately 40 square miles in any state of India where 20 or more of Serve India Ministries' native missionaries serve, forming a network to effectively cover the entire area. Each missionary seeks to plant five churches in the next five years.

To Adopt a Field:

You can sponsor 20 missionaries for $35 each ($700/month). 

Each missionary will target five villages, seeking to plant churches in those villages in the next five years.  These fields are ripe for harvest; let us labor together by His grace and for His glory.

How Does the Work Begin? 

  • Serve India Ministries  prayerfully chooses unreached areas with potential for church planting success.
  • Serve India Ministries  selects independent missionary/pastors already working in or near the area who agree to work within Serve India Ministries’ framework.
  • Serve India Ministries and the missionary/pastors agree that each missionary/pastor will seek to plant a minimum of five churches in five unreached villages in the next five years.
  • Serve India Ministries  and the missionary sign a Memorandum of Understanding detailing our agreement to work together for the next five years.

How SIM Serves Our Missionaries on the Field: 

  • Training: Twice each month training seminars are brought to the mission field for the pastors, elders, and church members.
  • Tools for Evangelism: Literature, films, projectors, etc. are provided free of charge for the missionary’s use.
  • Financial Assistance:  $35 per month for training and ministry expansion.
  • Mobile Teams: Teams of specially equipped men and women are sent to the villages to help with evangelistic events.

Link Your Life with the Mission Field:

As a mission field sponsor you are encouraged to relate to these servants of God for a five year period, being a significant part of their church planting efforts. Opportunities for the sponsoring church include participation in conferences, training seminars, youth events, and short-term mission trips where appropriate. You will receive periodic updates on the growth of the ministry and suggestions on how you can pray and offer your help.
