  For only $185 per month, you can help a missionary reach an entire village with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  

  

Program Overview

The “Adopt A Village” strategy plays an important role in SIM’s vision to reach 100,000 Indian villages with the Gospel in the next 15 years. 

SIM is targeting largely unreached areas of India, mapping out sections that are roughly 40 miles square. Our mission is to partner with 20 or more missionary/pastors in each of these areas. 

As a member of this network of church planters, each pastor will seek to plant five churches over the next five years, resulting in approximately 100 new churches. 

By “adopting” one of these villages, you will have a significant role in establishing a church, changing lives for eternity, and making the Lord’s name great among the people of India. 

How Your Sponsorship Makes A Difference: 

  • Effective evangelism:  Using various evangelistic strategies, your missionary will have the resources to take the Gospel to every person in your adopted village. ($35 per month)
  • Stepping Stones Tutoring Center: Your missionary will open a tutoring center for children ages 6-10. This daily afterschool program includes 15-20 minutes of Bible stories and songs, a snack, and help with homework and school projects that illiterate or uneducated parents are unable to give. These centers serve two very important purposes. First and foremost, this program is a wonderful way to introduce the Gospel to the children and to their families in order that they might come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In addition, it is our hope that these centers will serve as a catalyst for changing the cycles of child labor and poverty in which so many families find themselves. Each center will enroll at least 50 children and require $3 per child ($150 total).

How Serve India Ministries Helps Your Missionary:

  • Training - Each missionary/pastor will attend training sessions two days every month.
  • Evangelism Tools - Pastors will be equipped with Bibles, other literature, film projectors, etc.
  • Financial Assistance - $35 per month for the pastor’s needs and $150 per month for the Stepping Stone Tutoring Center provided by your sponsorship.
  • Ministry Teams - SIM teams will assist the missionary with literature distribution and special evangelistic programs.
  • Fellowship and Accountability - Each missionary will benefit from the fellowship, encouragement, and ongoing support they receive from being part of a larger network of missionaries and pastors.

How Your Life Will Be Linked to Your Village:

  • You will receive occasional updates from your village, keeping you apprised of the ministry’s growth and helping you to know specifically how you can pray for the people there.
  • SIM will provide opportunities for you to deepen your involvement with your adopted village. Possibilities include visits to the village, attending special events like pastors’ conferences and training seminars, children’s ministry programs, short-term mission trips, and outreach events.
