Many years ago, while working as a missionary with my wife and infant daughter in North India, I literally jumped up and down when a postcard arrived from a man known as a professional murderer. He said, "I heard about Jesus Christ for the first time. He has changed my life. I want to change my profession." He was responding to a radio broadcast I helped him produce. His postcard formed within me a life-long commitment to bring the Good News to the people of India, no matter the cost. In my thirty years of ministry, this commitment has grown into a burning passion. It is my heart's desire that in this generation, the whole of India will be redeemed and transformed like this murderer.
Today India stands at a crossroads. More than 600 million people are looking for a way out of the religion that has kept them in slavery. Where will they turn? They are the ones Isaiah calls the poor, the imprisoned, the blind, and the oppressed. They are the harvest ready to be gathered into the store house of God.
Therefore dear friends, I invite you to come forward and join hands with us. Together we can equip and send 20,000 native missionaries to reach at least 100,000 villages by 2020.
Ephesians 3:20, "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory..."
